AB Studio is a Caribbean British contemporary artist raised in Romford. Her practice is rooted in a family lineage of artistic expression and shaped by early experiences surrounded by creativity.
Drawing on the vibrancy, warmth, and rhythm of her Caribbean heritage, AB Studio approaches colour as a central language, layering bold, expressive tones to convey emotion, femininity, nature, and lived experience. Working primarily with acrylic, she also incorporates oil, fabric, and clay, allowing each piece to evolve through intuitive, hands-on experimentation and self-discovery.
By creating spaces for quiet reflection, her work invites viewers to connect emotionally and engage with the stories, textures, and atmospheres woven into each creation.
